The future remains uncertain for the forthcoming programme of events hosted by the Ramsey Music Society.
The northern-based society, which hosts a monthly series of concerts throughout the autumn and winter months, featuring a range of top-level classical music performers, including Gary Ryan (pictured above), is due to announce its programme of events for 2020/2021.
However, the society say they are still unsure whether or not they will be able to go ahead and hold the concerts as planned due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the global pandemic.
Ramsey Music Society chairman Leonard Singer said: ’We arranged the next season programme 12 months ahead but as there is so much uncertainty at the moment, we have informed the artists that all is dependent on the lifting of the lockdown and resumption of regular air services to the island.
’The first concert of the season was scheduled for September 14 and we will see what is the situation by the end of July.’
