A number of roads have closed as temperatures expected to drop below zero tonight with sheet ice already being reported.

The Department of Infrastructure have been out gritting this evening.

The following roads are now closed:

-Andreas Road, Andreas, between Ballacorey Road and Bernahara Road due to sheet ice.

- Mountain Road between Creg Ny Baa and Ramsey, due to sheet ice.

The police have asked the public to drive with care and to the conditions.
