The annual Isle of Man ’Question of Sport’ dinner saw 18 teams take part in an evening
of sporting trivia to help raise £4,000 for two charities.
The teams battled it out in the interactive quiz for the Isle of Man Sporting and Dining Club Silver Claret Jug.
Accounting firm Baker Tilly, 2018 champions, won the title again, becoming the first team to win the cup twice.
The event’s sponsor PwC tied for second place with investment firm Ramsey Crookall, and third place was environmental consultants ISO QA.
The evening raised £3,125, and a further donation from PwC Isle of Man meant that local charities Wish Upon a Dream and Love Tech each received £2,000. Wish Upon a Dream grants wishes for sick and terminally ill children living on the island, and Love Tech aims to ’inspire and empower girls and young women to explore opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) on the Isle of Man’.
Next year’s event is planned for September 23, 2021.
