St Ninian’s High School in Douglas is holding a mhelliah on Thursday.

The money raised will buy Christmas presents and entertainment for older residents in the local area and in local care homes.

The first part of the evening is a concert starting at 6.30pm when pupils will perform.

Following this will be an auction of the produce and lots collected in school.

Admission is £2 for adults, £1 for and old-aged pensioners.

A mhelliah is a Manx tradition of a harvest auction.
