Co-op staff around the island have decorated their stores in chalk drawings to support the NHS while also reinforcing the message to the Manx people to continue to stay home and stay safe where possible.
Area manager Andy Corrie said that staff had ’risen to the challenge with some simply amazing artwork and the display that the Onchan store produced overnight on the side wall truly raised the bar’.
Mr Corrie added: ’We hope these drawings have brightened up our customers’ necessary shopping trips and we hope you all heed the message and don’t ruin all the hard work that has already been done to eliminate Covid-19 from the Isle of Man.’
Co-op staff in the island’s other stores decorated the pavements outside the front of their shops with messages of support for the NHS and other key workers.
