Today’s 8am Steam Packet sailing from Douglas to Heysham has been cancelled because of the windy weather.
The 2.30pm return has obviously been cancelled.
The Met Office has not issued a weather warning.
The forecast:
Sunny intervals but also a small risk of an odd shower, the showers becoming more frequent this evening and overnight, with any showers wintry on the high ground. Temperatures only 6 or 7 Celsius at best.
A mostly dry day tomorrow with sunny intervals but still the risk of showers. Temperatures 6 or 7 Celsius but a little less windy.
Showers will become more frequent later on Sunday, merging into a longer spell of rain on Monday.
