What is your idea of a perfect meal?
If I’m out for dinner, pizza or pasta would usually be my go-to. However, you can’t beat a roast dinner and good home-cooked food.
What is your favourite way to relax?
I really enjoy art and have found working on my GCSE coursework really quite therapeutic, as well as just relaxing and listening to some music. I also really enjoy spending time with family and friends in any way that I can.
What is your greatest extravagance?
Most of my money goes on clothes or trips to see family in Ireland. However, that’s soon going to have to change as I’m going to have to start saving for driving lessons.
Do you have any pets?
Unfortunately, I haven’t convinced my Mum to get a dog.
What is your greatest achievement?
I took part in the English Speaking Union Mace Debates in the UK when in year 9. Myself and my team member were the first from the island to compete and we made it to the North West Regional Finals, up against much older students. I also completed my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award last year which was a big achievement for me!
What is your favourite time of the year?
As much as I love days in the sun when we’re lucky enough to get some over here, autumn and the build up to Christmas would have to be my favourite.
What is the first job you ever had?
I have been working voluntarily with the Isle of Man Hospice every week for nearly a year and a half now. However, my first actual job was with the Strand in 2016 as part of their Christmas Grotto experience.
What is your worst habit?
I used to be terrible for biting my nails, though not so much nowadays.
What is your favourite book?
I really enjoyed ’The Perks of Being A Wallflower’ by Stephen Chbosky.
What is your favourite TV programme?
I’d have to say Grey’s Anatomy. After 13 seasons of it, I don’t think I could give any other answer.
What is your favourite band/artist at the moment?
I’ve never really had one specific artist that I’ve been obsessed with. It’s always been a broad mixture of different bands and artists.
What is your favourite part of the Isle of Man?
Laxey beach or Glen Wyllin are neck and neck as my two favourite places on the island. I find that they’re both always very peaceful and pleasant, and I have lots of cherished memories linked to the two.
What is the last show/band that you saw live?
The production of RENT by the Youth Arts Centre, since my cousin was featuring as a lead role.
If time/money were no object, what would be your perfect day?
My perfect day, if I were to plan it right now, would be a day out somewhere filled with sunshine, memories and good people and a picnic. However, if I was going to go all out, I’d love to go travelling with a few of my friends.
Choose three people, dead or alive, to invite to dinner? I think I’d quite like to have met Audrey Hepburn. Other than that, I’m really not entirely sure, though Ed Sheeran seems like he’d be good fun .
