Grenaby Studios opened its doors for a winter festival.

The two-day event was well supported - despite heavy showers on Saturday.

It featured displays and market stalls from many of the artists who work within the shared studio spaces at Ballabeg.

A spokesman said: ’It was a phenomenal weekend - one of our busiest ever - and we all couldn’t do what we do without the public’s support.

’It’s wonderful to see the support growing for the creative industries. The island has a wealth of very talented artists, makers and designers.’

Visitors were able to see a variety of craftworks taking shape before their eyes, including ceramics by Jo Lewy and woodwork by Graham Hall.

There was a range of goods to buy - everything from jewellery by Claire Pearse of ElementIsle, clothing by Alice Rose Fayle Design, candles from Breeze Candles, fine art by Rosie J. Wood, and Christmas decorations and ornaments by Rosie Glassey of Grenabee.

And refreshments were available throughout the weekend thanks to Flo the Coffee Van.
