A team from the Isle of Man climbed the highest mountains in Wales, England and Scotland in under 24 hours.

A group of staff at the Financial Services Authority - Trish Cain, Sarah Davidson, Paul Ellison, Dave Hodgson, Dan Jones, Holly Jones, Neil Rawlinson, plus Neil’s wife Vicki Rawlinson and retired staff member Michael Weldon - climbed Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in the Lake District and Snowdon in Wales.

Allowing 10 hours for driving, and 14 hours mountain time, the whole team completed the challenge within 23 hours 18 minutes.

They raised £1,900 for Bridge the Gap, a volunteer-led charity that aims to improve facilities and support for teenagers and adults with long term health need.

Bridge the Gap provides hospital-based youth worker support and in November 2018 opened the Pod - a chill out lounge for young adult patients aged 16 to 24 years with complex medical conditions.
