It comes after the supermarket giant bought out Shoprite last year.
Work is currently taking place to convert all of Shoprite’s existing stores into Tesco branches.
In the latest development following the takeover, Tesco is currently looking to fill a number of positions in the Isle of Man.
The roles available include baristas for its planned coffee shop as well as team leaders and even a store manager in Douglas.
Tesco is currently refitting the old Victoria Road Shoprite store.
It is understood that that will reopen next month.
