Chairman Bert Quayle has said Saturday’s Peel Gardeners’ Association Show was the ’probably the most successful in 10 years’.
Mr Quayle said the organising committee had been concerned about this year’s show which was held at Central Marts Ltd, Knockaloe, instead of its normal Corrin Hall, Peel, location. However, those fears were allayed and the show ’exceeded all our expectation and was well supported from people island wide,’ he said.
Now in its 78th year, the show was moved from its regular Thursday show to a Saturday for 2020.
