Twenty young singers will compete in the finals of a prestigious music competition in the south of the island this weekend.
The Young Singer of Mann competition takes place at the Erin Arts Centre, in Port Erin, on Sunday, September 6 from 2pm.
The singers , all aged between eight and 15 years old, will each sing three songs of their own choice in a bid to win the title.
The accompanist for the event is Madeleine Kelly and the judges will be Emma Callin, Fenella Bazin, and Gwyn Jones, along with chairman John Bethell.
The current holder of the title is Erin Loach (pictured above) who won the competition in 2018 .
The biannual competition was originally due to be held in April and, in its usual format, consists of two heats.
However, the organisers decided to hold the competition over a single event for this year in the face of the disruptions caused to the art centre’s schedule this year.
Tickets are £6 for adults and £2 for children, available from the Erin Arts Centre Box Office on 832662.
