Producers from The Voice UK were on the island this week seeking talented singers to take part in the show’s next series in 2018.

As part of a search that takes them all over Britain, Lauren Breslaw and Mo Mohsin invited hopefuls to come and sing at the Youth Arts Centre and Soundcheck in Kensington Road, Douglas.

This is the first stage in finding those who are suitable for formal auditions. The eventual winner of The Voice, which features Sir Tom Jones on the judging panel, will be awarded a major recording contract.

Whilst they were here Lauren and Mo took the opportunity to go and check out the Manx Music Festival at the Villa Marina in Douglas.
