Carl Joseph Bridson, aged 38, of Derby Road, Douglas, has appeared in court charged with threatening behaviour.

The offence is alleged to have been committed on June 23.

Mr Bridson opted to represent himself in court but asked for an adjournment to allow him time to instruct an advocate.

Magistrates adjourned the case until July 20.

Bail continues in the sum of £500.
