The Steam Packet sailings scheduled for tonight and tomorrow morning have been cancelled.

The 7.45pm Ben my Chree crossing from Douglas to Heysham and Saturday’s 2.15am return journey aren’t going ahead - this is due to adverse weather conditions.

There is a weather warning in place for icy patches from 2am on Saturday until 6pm.

Tonight, IoM MET Office has said it will be cold tonight with icy patches forming on roads above 800ft, and that roads might remain damp/wet because of seepage.

A few icy patches may also form in lower areas that are well sheltered from the strong Easterly wind.

It will be staying cold tomorrow (Sat) night, so the times on this warning are likely to be extended.
