The cables for the Snaefell Mountain Railway were damaged this week.
On Tuesday afternoon, a lorry carrying a skip hit the electricity cables as it drove through and then snapped them.
This occurred on the Mountain Road by the Bungalow, at the bottom of the mountain- one of the three stops for the tram.
The Snaefell Mountain Railway’s timetable was halted as no trams were able to cross the cables following the incident.
There was at least one tram cancellation that afternoon.
