This was the scene after a tram was involved in a collision with a car.
The incident took place at a crossing at Cornaa on Sunday afternoon.
Two adults and two children in the car was lucky to escape injury.
Isle of Man Transport confirmed that no one aboard the tram was injured but the historic tramcar did sustain minor damage.
A spokesman said: ’Damage was sustained to a Manx Electric Railway tram and a car during a collision which took place at the Cornaa crossing on Sunday at 3.35pm.
’No one aboard the tram was injured and it’s understood that the car’s occupants, two adults and two children, were also uninjured.’
The tram suffered mainly superficial damage and was able to continue to the depot where a front step bent during the incident was removed.
