The Snaefell Mountain Railway is operating again after trials this morning (Friday).
In a statement, the Department of Infrastructure said the trials had 'confirmed the effectiveness of speed monitoring equipment and management procedures'.
The Health and Safety at Work Inspectorate attended the trials and agreed the contents of the new procedure before lifting the notice.
Services were suspended last night by the HSWI for failing to comply with a reduced 8mph speed limit.
