Student musicians from the Royal Northern College of Music will be performing in the south of the island later this month.
The Northern Trombone Quartet will be visiting the island for a series of workshops and a concert, held on Tuesday, February 12 at the Erin Arts Centre.
The visit has been organised by Ross Marshall, a student from Onchan in his final year at the College, and the quartet will present a variety of music from Beethoven, Bruckner and Bourgeois, as well as modern light hearted tunes and jazz.
’We see this as a unique opportunity for people to experience the eclectic sounds a trombone quartet can create,’ said Ross.
Tickets for the concert are £8 or £2 for students, available from the Erin Arts Centre.
