The opening race of TT 2017 has been delayed until Sunday afternoon.
The six-lap Superbike race, usually the traditional curtain-raiser to race week, has been hit by the continued weather problems that have plagued the Mountain Course during practice week.
With riders only managing very few laps between them in practice so far, organisers have opted to run a full practice and qualifying session throughout Saturday, beginning at 10.40am and lasting all the way through to after 5pm.
As such, the Superbike race will now take place on Sunday starting at 2pm and will be followed by Sidecar and TT Zero practice.
The opening Sidecar race has been moved from Saturday to Monday afternoon at 2.15pm, prior to which the four-lap Supersport race will begin at 10.45am, while the day will be completed with practice in various other classes.
The four-lap Superstock will kick off proceedings on Tuesday lunchtime at 12.15pm before Sidecar, Lightweight and TT Zero practice.
