A team of dogs and their owners completed a relay lap of the TT course to raise more than £3,000 for charity.

Each walker and dog pair walked a mile section of the course before handing over to the next pair.

All manner of dogs took part, including pugs, cocker spaniels, cockapoos, labradors and border collies.

And for two dogs, the day came with a special treat, as their section, over the mountain mile and down from the Creg-ny-Baa, was too dangerous to walk.

Instead, Disney the pug, along with owners Pauline and Chloe Dolman and Rebel with owners David and Jane Gaggs were picked up by Isle of Man Trike Tours Limited and driven along their sections.

The event was held to raise money for two charities, Greenhills Animal Sanctuary and Manx Breast Cancer Support Group.

A total of £3,775.50 was raised which will be split equally between the charities, which were both represented in the final mile of the walk.

Organiser Pauline Dolman said: ’Massive congratulations and thank you to all the walkers and dogs who took part and for all your fundraising.

’You all did me proud, what a fabulous team.’
