Comedy fans are looking forward to a side-splitting month of shows next year, with another top UK comedian unveiling a show on the island.

Fast-talking, energetic funnyman Russell Kane will bring his 2019 touring show, The Fast and the Curious - to the Gaiety Theatre on Sunday, March 31.

Described as ’packing more energy than a Duracell factory, Russell’s new show takes a turbo-charged journey through love, family and life, and aims to prove that the fast and the curious in life see more stuff, and get more done.

The multi-award winning comedian, who also occasionally turns his hands to presenting, acting, and writing, is a regular face on the television.

He is best known for the 2015 BBC Three survival show Stupid Man, Smart Phone, and is also the host of the comedy shows Live At The Electric and BBC One’s Live At The Apollo.

I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here Now and has also appeared on the charity fund-raising Sport Relief show.

Russell was crowned the winner of Best Show in 2010 at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, and went on to make history as the first comedian to win both the Edinburgh Award and Melbourne Comedy Festival’s Barry Award in one year.
