There will be a fundraiser in aid of the people of Ukraine tomorrow (Saturday).
The event will include a raffle, stalls throughout the day, a coffee morning and a soup lunch.
All money raised will be split between two charities, Save The Children and Voices of Ukraine.
Voices of Ukraine is a charity helping with the physiological trauma children are experiencing during the current conflict.
Meanwhile, Save The Children is distributing supplies, cash and vouchers, food, medicines, and mental health and psychosocial support for children and families, providing access to safe and inclusive education alongside safe sanitation of water.
Taking place at St John’s Methodist Hall, the event will run from 10am to 4pm.
The coffee morning will be from 10am to 11.30am, with the soup lunch being served between noon and 2pm.
More than 50 island and UK businesses have been asked to donate to the raffle and the stalls throughout the day will be packed with baked goods, crafts and art.
