The kids will be taking over Douglas next weekend.

There is to be a disco forteenagers at the Nexus nightclub, organised by ex-Douglas councillor John Faragher, held on Friday, February 17.

The under14s disco will run from 6.30pm until 8.15pm, and will feature music from some of the young DJs on the island, including the amazing 15 year old DJ Crammy.

The under 18s will go from 8.30pm until 11.15pm.

Both discos will be held in a brightly-coloured ’UV wonderland’, and the advice is to dress colourfully.

John took the decision to expand the event to include under 14 year olds after running previously successful discos aimed at holding events in a safe and secure environment for teenagers.

Entry is £5 for both discos.
