Unemployment has fallen again - and is now at its lowest level since June 2004.
The number of people registered as unemployed fell by 55 last month to a figure of 338 - 254 fewer than the same month last year and the lowest September figure since 2003.
That gives an unemployment rate, the proportion of economically active population registered unemployed, of just 0.8%, down 0.1% from August.
Of the 338 out of work, 225 are men and 113 are women.
A total of 129 people signed on to the register last month and 184 signed off. Some 877 vacancies were notified to the Job Centre and 598 remained at the end of the month.
Of those 74% were full-time positions and 26% part-time.
International Labour Organisation estimates, which include those out of work but not actually registered unemployed, put the figure for joblessness at 783, down from 838 in August.
Sectors with the highest levels of unemployment include construction and some medical and health services, while those with the highest numbers of vacancies include e-gaming and some retail distribution.
