The unexploded ordnance which closed the Greenway between Sartfell Road and Ballacurn Road (to the left of Sartfell Plantation) has been disposed of.
The Greenway is now open.
On Monday (March 14), police closed the area upon the discovery of the unexploded ordnance.
Road closures affected drivers, pedestrians and cyclists.
An ordnance disposal team from the UK has now visited the island and it has been dealt with safely.
The Isle of Man Constabulary thanked their partner agencies the Coastguard and Civil Defence.
