Members of the Vintage Motor Cycle Club, visited the island for the Festival of Motorcycling and mounted a display of their bikes - around 60 in total - on the North Quay in Douglas.

There they met the Mayor and Mayoress of Douglas, Jon and Angela Joughin.

The mayor, a vintage motor cycle enthusiast, took the opportunity to talk to a number of the owners and to get behind the handlebars of some of their bikes, before inviting the visitors back to the town hall for afternoon tea.
