Our Wallabies Gone Wild trail is set to provide endless hours of fun for our residents and visitors alike, creating great community cohesion and having a positive impact to all involved.
In addition to the trail itself we will be hosting a range of exciting Wallaby-themed events throughout the summer to further enhance the Wallabies Gone Wild experience.
On Saturday, June 29, from 12.30pm we will be hosting a ’Wallababies Gone Wild’ School Talent Show at the Gaiety Theatre.
If you would like to get involved we would love to hear from you.
The talent show is open to all schools who have been involved with the trail and is an opportunity for you to showcase your school’s talents in a fun environment.
The afternoon is all about celebrating culture, diversity and talent and we are looking for schools to put forward acts in areas such as solo and small group singing, choirs, dancing, reading and poetry.
Also, we would like to hear from anyone who is interested in performing and acting out in scenes, speaking and performing a monologue, rapping or even putting on a magic show
We would also love to hear about and any other talent that your school would like to make a show of.
Schools are invited to submit up to three entries and we will accommodate as many as we can, subject to availability and the logistics involved in the performance.
There will be some fun awards and prizes handed out that will be decided upon by some special guests on the day and tickets to the event will be available for sale via the Villa Marina box office from May, 28.
If your school would like to participate in the event please contact the Wallabies Gone Wild Team on [email protected] or call 647402 before Friday, May 24.
We would like to thank our education and community partners, Microgaming Play It Forward for their continued support with our education programme, and our presenting partner Stewart Clague Services for their support with this event.
