The Met Office’s yellow warning for ice and frost continues.
The forecast:
Icy patches possible in a few spots today, and otherwise it will be another very cold day with sunny intervals, fresh to strong east or northeast winds and just a small risk of a light snow shower. Maximum temperature only about 3 Celsius, and remaining sub-zero over the hills.
Tonight the winds will ease, allowing a widespread sharp frost to develop as temperatures fall to minus 3 Celsius. Then tomorrow will be cold, but dry and bright with plenty of sunny intervals.
Dry on Thursday, but becoming cloudy with strong to gale force southeast winds.
