The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for ice and frost.
The forecast:
Chilly start with a risk of a patchy frost, otherwise dry with variable amounts of cloud. Light to moderate southeast winds strengthening this evening, maximum temperature 7°C.
Turning wet overnight with a strong to gale force southeast winds and coastal overtopping around the time of high tide (~1:15am). Rain clearing to sunshine and showers later Saturday morning as the wind veers westerly and decreases. Top temperature 9°C.
On Sunday largely cloudy with a small risk of isolated showers. Fresh to strong west or northwest wind and a highest temperature of 7°C.
