The weather forecast from the Met Office:
Today will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle at times, as the south to southwest wind increases to become strong to near gale force this afternoon, with highest temperature around 10°C.
Some showers are possible this evening and tonight, before a brief spell of heavy rain spreads from the west later in the night, clearing around dawn as the wind quickly turns to the west or southwest and eases. Minimum temperature near to 4°C.
The rain will quickly clear tomorrow, leaving the rest of the morning dry and bright with sunny spells, before scattered showers spread from the west during the afternoon, some of which could be wintry over the hills. Breezy with a fresh west to southwest wind and highs of 8°C.
Dry with some brightness at first on Saturday, but quickly turning cloudy with rain arriving from the west during the afternoon, becoming persistent and heavy at times overnight, as the south to southwest wind becomes strong to gale force. Maximum temperature around 9°C.
