A windy night with the westerly wind veering to the north or northwest and becoming strong to near gale force, as it turns cold later in the night with temperatures falling as low as -1°C.

Easter Monday will be very cold for the time of year, but it will be bright with some sunny spells and a few hail or snow showers. Temperatures only reaching up to 5 or 6°C and feeling much colder in the strong to near gale force north to northwest wind due to significant wind chill.
