The weather forecast from the Met Office:
Outbreaks of rain will spread from the west early this morning, becoming persistent at times with some heavier bursts possible. Highest temperature around 15°C, with a light to moderate south to southwest wind which will become light and variable this afternoon.
Remaining cloudy and wet this evening & tonight with further spells of rain and drizzle, as the wind settles to the northeast and becomes strong. Lowest temperature near to 10°C.
Rain and drizzle will continue to affect the island tomorrow morning, but will gradually clear to isolated showers during the afternoon, with the chance of some brightness breaking through. Quite windy with a fresh to strong north to northeast wind, with top temperature of 16°C.
Saturday will be fine and dry with lengthy sunny spells and a moderate to fresh north to northwest wind. Temperatures reaching up to 15°C at best.
