The Met Office has issued two yellow weather warnings - one is for heavy rain, the other for severe gales.

The forecast:

Cloudy and windy today, with spells of rain turning heavy at times. The strong southerly winds increasing to gale or severe gale force this morning, giving gusts of 55 to 60 mph, possibly 65 mph in more exposed locations with the risk of minor damage in places. The rain becoming more persistent for late afternoon and this evening, perhaps leading to some surface water flooding. Top temperature 11 Celsius.

The winds will slowly decrease tonight and the rain will turn lighter overnight, then on Wednesday there will be a little rain or drizzle hereabouts from time to time with the winds gradually moderating further. Dry for Thursday and Friday, with bright or sunny spells.
