The weather forecast from the Met Office:

Cloudy and wet this morning with rain which will often be persistent and at times heavy, and will clear during the afternoon. Moderate to fresh northeast winds will become a fresh to strong northerly during the day with temperatures limited to around 7 Celsius.

A dry and bright day on Thursday but cold with a fresh to strong northerly wind and temperatures no more than 5 or 6 Celsius.

Dry again on Friday but generally cloud, , with perhaps a few showers in the evening for a time, light winds settling westerly and still rather cold.
