Glen Maye Chapel is holding a charity coffee morning on Saturday, November 9, from 10am, in support of John Anderson’s Walk for Freedom.

John, a farmer from Patrick, is currently walking from Land’s End to John O’Groats to publicise the problems of modern-day slavery and to raise money to combat it.

John left Land’s End on September 20 and is currently walking through Scotland.

All proceeds from the coffee morning will be donated to support John’s cause.

The charity is International Justice Mission (IJM), the largest anti-slavery organisation in the world.
