Ramsey Commissioners want to know what people think of the town’s library.
Lead member for parks and leisure Billy Hankin said: ’We would welcome feedback, not only from library members but also from the wider community, about what we are doing well and where improvements could be made.’
He explained that the survey was in recognition of changing expectations from library users.
’As well as helping to develop literacy and digital skills and serving as centres for life-long learning, libraries still have an important community role to play.
’And it’s against this background that we hope findings from this survey will help to shape our library services for the future,’ said Mr Hankin.

The survey will close at 5pm on Tuesday, November 21.
Membership of Ramsey Town Library is £10 for ’town’ members, £20 for ’country’ members.
It is free for under-18s and students.
A Tynwald select committee was formed earlier this year to look at library provision across the island.
It carried out its own consultation, which ended on September 30.
