The weather forecast from the Met Office:
Quite windy today with the strong to gale force southerly winds continuing for much of the time. Otherwise it will be a cloudy and dull day, with patchy rain at first turning heavier and more persistent by the afternoon. Maximum temperature 14 Celsius, then during this evening the rain will begin to move away as the winds start to ease.
Tonight will become dry as the winds ease further, the minimum temperature 10 Celsius. Then tomorrow the winds will be much lighter, and a good part of the day will be dry with some brightness and fairly mild temperatures, before outbreaks of rain arrive later.
Rather unsettled next week, but mild or very mild.
