Amy Leah Pledger, aged 17, of Ballanoa Meadow, Santon, has appeared in court charged with careless driving.

The offence is alleged to have been committed on January 21.

She was represented in court by advocate Sara-Jayne Dodge who asked for an adjournment until May 4 to allow time for discussions with the prosecution.
