Work on a project in Peel has been completed.

The junction of East Quay with Crown Street has reopened following completion of the raised pedestrian crossing next to the coastguard office.

The footpath in front of the Peveril Hotel is also now complete and the fence line for the working area has been extended to outside the Leece Museum.

The Peveril is accessible by vehicle from Shore Road/Weatherglass corner with continued pedestrian access available right along East Quay.

The Department of Infrastructure’s contractor for the scheme was Paul Carey & Sons Ltd.
