Everybody, at some point in their lives, feels stuck in a rut, or annoyed that they missed out on a promotion yet again, or aren’t fulfilling their potential, or feel a bit lost and directionless, or lack confidence, or are just feeling overwhelmed by everything they’re trying to juggle.
In our non-working lives it’s family and friends and hobbies and exercising and grocery shopping and housework and gardening...the list goes on.
At work it’s tight deadlines, clashing priorities, office politics, toxic behaviours, poor decision-making, poor leadership, perhaps a lack of development opportunities.
Sometimes, who you are and what you need can get lost in the noise of life.
Whatever challenge you’re facing, whatever goal seems out of reach or too high, with Mountain High Coaching you’re not alone.
I’ll be with you every step of the way throughout our collaborative, creative process.
I offer bespoke coaching for individuals, as well as teams. ‘Bespoke’ - because there’s no ‘one-size-fits-all approach’ to coaching.
‘Individuals as well as teams’ - because our home and working lives are interconnected, and frustration in one area can impact your happiness in other areas of your life.
For individuals, life coaching can be a powerful way to help you be the person you really want to be and achieve the things you long to. It could be about building your confidence, developing your self-awareness, understanding how you can be a better leader, getting ready for an important interview, deciding your next career move, or even figuring out how to save a deposit for your first home.
For teams, my coaching is focused on improving personal, social and relationship awareness to strengthen collaboration and co-operation, increase inclusivity, value diversity, to learn together, to welcome healthy challenge and dissent and inquiring and respectful communication, in order to increase performance, pride and enjoyment.
I also love to work with teams to develop their readiness for inevitable change and increase their agility in a rapidly changing world.
I truly believe in the potential, creativity and resourcefulness of my clients and I am able to work intuitively with them to co-create the environment for that to emerge - trusting, open, honest, respectful, caring, free of judgement. I believe in them more than they might believe in themselves. I will invest my time, energy and expertise in my clients if they are willing to invest effort and commitment to reaching their peak.
I will hold their goals as though they were my own. When the going gets tough, I will stand by their side and encourage them to keep going.
And I challenge them to push forward, to try new things, to consider different perspectives and, together, we celebrate the successes as well as the failures, because even failures are about giving it a go and offer rich learning experiences.
Whether an individual or a team, working with me will result in transformation, some of which may be unexpected.
With my experience and training I understand and appreciate many of the situations, challenges and concerns individuals and teams experience.
And from the feedback I receive, I know the skills I have to share have the power to transform lives.
That’s the beauty of the coaching journey; there are so many twists and turns along the way, so much learning and personal development - it’s a rich journey of discovery and one worth investing in.

We have many facets and are way more than the roles we occupy.
Some wonder how a person (me) with a long career in IT got into such a people focused career like coaching. And it’s simple. I love people more than machines and code. I’ve experienced my fair share of dysfunction and toxicity in the workplace, and it really doesn’t have to be that way.
For people to do their best work they need to feel happy and fulfilled, respected and valued, and that they have a voice that gets heard. I think in this day and age, organisations can’t afford to have an unhappy and unproductive workforce, they can’t afford to have people who aren’t innovative and creative.
They can’t afford to have a toxic culture. It impacts their competitiveness in their market, and affects their bottom line.
