A variety of cuisine, music and crafts were enjoyed by residents at a new event which celebrates the different cultures here in the island.
The first Our Island, Our World festival took place last weekend with two concerts being held at the Centenary Centre and activities in the Cathedral in Peel.
A number of families attended the free event within the Cathedral grounds where they could explore the different stalls run by people from Nigeria, Uganda, Poland, Bulgaria, India and more.
Live music and dancing was also performed by representatives of the communities living in the island who gave demonstrations of their culture.
Agnieszka Sitarek and little helper Lena, aged three, held a stand where they made Polish rosettes - sweet, fried pastries - for people to try.
Samosa and other treats were served up by Biju Cherian and Danya Bijuat at their Indian stall.
Josie and Dale Fabic also cooked up a storm by sharing their traditional Filipino food with residents.
Traditional Nigerian outfits were donned by Oris Okunola, David Danful and his six-year-old son Emanuel Danful. Nadia Yosifova, from Bulgaria, brought along gourds which were used as instruments.
Fair Trade and Culture Vannin stalls were also present at the festival.
