The 10km race walking and younger age group road championships take place over the NSC roadway on Sunday morning.

The action is scheduled to get underway from 10am. Signing on is at Manx Harriers clubhouse from 9.15am.

Race distances will be 10km for (u17, u20, senior and veterans), and junior distances from 5km down to 1km depending on age groups.

Entry fees are £5 for registered athletes and £7 for unattached walkers. Junior entries are £1 for club members and £2 for unattached juniors.

A prize presentation, with refreshments will take place after the completion of racing.

l Round three of the CallinWild Manx Fell Running League takes place on Sunday.

The Creg-ny-Baa race covers a 16km route based at the Bungalow on the Mountain Road and will include 823 metres of ascent.

The start time is 10am, with registration between 9 and 9.45am. Full safety gear is mandatory and there will be kit checks at registration. Minimum age is 18 years on race day.
