Eleven athletes from the Isle of Man have been selected to represent Lancashire in this Saturday’s Inter-Counties Cross-Country Championships.
The event will be held for the third time at Prestwold Hall, a country estate close to Loughborough in Leicestershire.
There is Manx representation in seven of the 10 races, with no fewer than five in the nine-strong senior women’s team.
Those selected are: senior men: Ollie Lockley; senior women: Rachael Franklin, Sarah Astin, Karen Shimmin, Elissa Morris, Gail Griffiths; junior men: David Mullarkey; junior women: Lorna Spiers; under-15 girls: Ella Crowe; u13 boys: Sam Perry; u13 girls: Macy Hillier.
