A total of 196 names have been received for the Firefighters Memorial Walk this Sunday (entries are now closed).
Topping the list are Richard Gerrard, Robbie Callister, Pete Miller, Adam Killip, Michael Bonney, Chris Burn, Jayne Farquhar, Bernie Johnson, Marie Jackson, Sharon Cain, Andrew Titley and Dave Walker.
The event covers a distance of approximately 50km (31 miles), starting at 8.30am from Peel Fire Station and following the Parish Walk route through Kirk Michael, Ballaugh, Jurby, Andreas and Sulby, before finishing at Ramsey Fire Station.
l Round one of Northern AC’s Park Run series takes place at the Mooragh in Ramsey this evening (Thursday).
Sign on from 6pm for a 7pm start - usual youth and adult classes. Further rounds take place on May 17, June 14, July 12 and 26.
l Entries for Easter Saturday’s Manx Mountain Marathon and half-MMM close tomorrow, Friday at 6pm.
