For most sides, this weekend sees the final mixed league games of the season, with titles to be decided and relegation battles to be settled.

The biggest game of all comes in the shape of Vikings A versus Bacchas A in the PwC Mixed Premier League in what should prove to be a Titanic battle.

This match could see a new champion crowned if Vikings A win or draw. Even if Vikings lose, they still have a game in hand against a slippery Ramsey A side. Can Vikings end their league hoodoo this weekend?

They haven’t won a mixed top flight title since 1989-90 and Bacchas are perennial winners so this match really is on a knife edge.

In the Premier League relegation fight, Bacchas B are all but down unless they can beat Ramsey A this weekend and hope Castletown Celts lose by a number of goals against Valkyrs A.

Given the form book, Ramsey A should win despite a spirited Bacchas side doing everything they can until the final whistle to survive.

PwC Mixed Division Two is much harder to figure out the potential ramifications as a number of teams have games in hand because of postponements.

However, should Ramsey Ravens win against their nearest title challengers Saracens Colts, then they will be celebrating a title win. But should Saracens win, the title will be decided by Saracens Colts’ performances in their two games in hand.

Valkyrs C can go level with Ravens if they beat Ramsey Rookies this weekend, but this is their last game and, barring a 13-goal swing, they will be very lucky to end the weekend on top and even luckier still to win the league.

Bacchas Colts are hoping to earn more points in their battle for relegation but again because of postponements this is a battle that will continue into December.

In PwC Mixed Division Three things are much simpler: the top two go head-to-head knowing the winning side takes the title.

Vikings D and Harlequins Colts have lost once each but the latter have grown as the season has gone on and Vikings may struggle to cope with their pace.

However, both of these sides are in the title fight for a reason and this will prove to be another magnificent game where honours will be won and lost.

Elsewhere in Division Three, Vikings Colts will be looking to end their season on a high against Valkyrs D, while Southerners aim to prove the best of the rest in the bottom half of the table against Bacchas D and Saracens Sharks will be hoping to build on their well-earned point last week against Harlequins B.

PwC Mixed Division One was decided last weekend following Vikings B’s win over Harlequins A, therefore they’ll be aiming to retain their unbeaten status against a Saracens Sabres side flying high following their win against Valkyrs B in mid-week.

Valkyrs B, reeling from that loss, will be looking to recover some pride against Bacchas C with Harlequins A wanting to end their season on a high against Vikings C.
