Mark Cavendish sprinted to his third victory of the season in the Milano - Torino one-day race in Italy on Wednesday afternoon.
Having claimed victories at both the Tour of Oman and UAE Tour in February, the Manx Missile continued his good form with a typically strong showing in northern Italy.
The race travelled from Magenta to Rivoli over a largely flat 199-kilometre course which favoured the peloton’s fast men.
