Valkyres may now be under pressure because some regular players are unavailable because of work and family commitments.
The game will allow those players who have not had an opportunity to shine so far this season to demonstrate their credentials.
The Callin Wild Development team take on Baker Tilly Isle of Man Cronkbourne at KWC on Sunday.
The Development side have some of the best players in the island at present, but they will all need to show good concentration to take on this strong Cronkbourne team.
If Cronkbourne bat first, one hopes that they will give their bowlers a sufficient, but challenging target to defend.

It was not enough to win the match though as Cronkbourne’s batsmen replied with Jared Shepherd hitting 139 not out and Ian Larson making 46 not out to take them past the Ramsey score of 216.
Jared scored a six off the last ball to win the match.
Crosby continue to hold a firm grip of the Under-13 League as their two teams hold the top spots.
Joe Humphrey top scored with an outstanding 130 in their victory over Finch Hill Hawks.
Crosby B bowler Ziv Rosenthal took three wickets for 19 as his team bowled Finch Hill Falcons out for 70 runs and eased to victory with only three wickets down.
