Registration nights for the Isle of Man Cross-Country League take place tomorrow, Wednesday, and Friday, October 11 in Manx Harriers clubhouse, NSC perimeter road, from 6pm to 8pm.

There is a discount for entering all four rounds of the series in advance.

Round one of the Law Trust-sponsored series takes place this Sunday, October 13 over the Castle Rushen High School course in Castletown, where the first race will start at 2pm.

Registration will also be available on the day of the event. Full details can be found on the Isle of Man Athletics Assocation’s website and Facebook page.

l The Never Give Up Autumn Handicap 5km race walk and 10km road run takes place on Thursday week, October 17 over the NSC perimeter road.

Entry form can be downloaded and the postal address is on the site www.iomvac.co.uk

Electronic timing will be used and the event is ideal for those wishing to take up race walking or running.

The walk will start at 6.30pm and the run at 7.15pm. Entry fees: £10 (for those with no athletics club affiliation); £6 (for those affiliated).

IoM Vet Club first claim members free.
