Ollie Lockley set the early pace in the men’s race of the Isle of Man Cross-Country Championships at a very wet and muddy Nunnery estate on Sunday.
It was, however, Alan Corlett who would clinch a fourth island title in a row ahead of training partner Lockley and first junior David Mullarkey in third.
Corlett’s partner Rachael Franklin also continued her dominance in the women’s race, picking up a fifth island crown in six years finishing a minute ahead of Elissa Morris.
